Secure Communication with O-Chip Secure & T-System
The open protocol O-Chip for connecting chargers is now available in a secure version. With O-Chip Secure, data can be transmitted securely over the open internet, without the need for a VPN. AES256 encryption makes interception impossible.
T-System uses O-Chip Secure to connect chargers to their backend system. The first installation at the Stadtwerke Herne utility company works securely using a simple LTE modem without the need for any additional hardware or software.
