Successful commissioning of the first e-charging station for Maat Transport

The Dinslaken-based Shell subsidiary SBRS GmbH formed the Shell eDepot Solutions Europe team with the Dutch e-mobility specialists from Shell last year and has now implemented the first joint project in the Netherlands for the South Holland all-round logistics service provider Maat B.V.

With its seven locations and diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers, Maat B.V. is an important player in the transportation industry. SBRS/Shell eDepot Solutions Europe has now successfully put a 300 kW charging station for e-trucks into operation at the Alblasserdam site. The project handover took place in the end of January and is an important step in Maat Transport’s journey towards sustainability and innovation.

The handover of the charging station was greeted with enthusiasm by the Maat Transport team. Charging the newly acquired Volvo electric truck works smoothly, a testament to the efficiency and reliability of the installed charger.
