Better safe than sorry. This guiding principle was at the heart of Safety Day 2026 at SBRS GmbH. Held once a year, Safety Day highlights a specific area of workplace safety. This year’s focus was on the blind spot of a truck.

Occupational safety

A topic that affects every single employee and at the same time forms the foundation for our shared success!

As a provider of charging infrastructure and e-mobility solutions, SBRS operates in a demanding working environment. Whether in production, during on-site installations, in service operations, or in the daily handling of electrical systems and technical components, safety is not a secondary issue but an essential part of everyday work. This makes it all the more important to identify risks, assess them correctly, and prevent accidents through responsible behavior.

That is precisely why this year’s company-wide Safety Day took place once again. The aim of the event was to refresh existing knowledge, train practical skills, and further strengthen awareness of safe working practices.

Refreshing Knowledge, Recognizing Risks, Sharing Experiences

Safety Day offered employees the opportunity to engage intensively with various aspects of occupational safety. Through hands-on training sessions and practical exercises, existing knowledge was deepened and current safety-related topics were addressed, including this year’s focus: the size of a truck’s blind spot.

The day was not only about regulations and processes. The primary focus was on how a safe working environment can be actively created. After all, occupational safety is not achieved through rules or technical measures alone. It thrives on awareness, responsibility, and a corporate culture in which safety is considered every day.

Particular importance was placed on open exchange among colleagues. Employees from different areas were able to share their experiences with blind spots, discuss challenges, and learn from one another. This diversity of perspectives helps identify risks early and take the appropriate actions.

Safety as a Shared Responsibility

Every employee makes an important contribution to keeping workplaces safe and minimizing risks.

Conrad Mummert summed up the idea behind the event perfectly:

“There are real risks in our business, and today, on Safety Day, we are taking a short break because I want everyone to take the time tomorrow to be safe as well.”

Those who understand risks, assess them correctly, and act attentively when it matters most protect not only themselves but also their colleagues.

Occupational Safety as Part of Corporate Culture

Especially in an industry that is evolving rapidly and driving innovative technologies forward, safe work processes are a critical success factor. They build trust, encourage collaboration, and enable teams to carry out even complex tasks with the necessary care and professionalism.

This year’s Safety Day once again demonstrated the value of shared learning experiences. The committed participation of everyone involved and the many conversations around the topic of safety made one thing clear: every contribution matters.

Together Toward a Safe Future

Looking back on Safety Day 2026 shows that safety does not happen by chance. It is the result of knowledge, awareness, and teamwork. It grows wherever people take responsibility, share experiences, and look out for one another.

With these insights, SBRS looks ahead to the coming months and remains committed to a safety culture that is supported by all employees. Because only where safety is truly lived can innovation, quality, and sustainable success thrive.
