With the new PowerHub 500 at our site, SBRS GmbH has reached another milestone on the path toward high-performance and future-ready charging infrastructure. During an internal inauguration event, employees had the opportunity to get a close look at the charger and charge their own electric vehicles.
The new PowerHub 500 has already been operational on the SBRS premises since last week. To celebrate its commissioning and at the same time gather valuable hands-on experience, colleagues were invited to a joint inauguration event.
Many employees took the opportunity to experience the new fast charger live, ask questions, and connect their own electric vehicles directly to the system. Different vehicle models, states of charge, and charging profiles provided a variety of valuable testing conditions.

Practical Testing for Continuous Development
For the development of modern charging infrastructure, real-world use cases are of particular importance. Every vehicle brand, every battery management system, and every individual charging behavior provides important insights into how charging processes perform in practice over the long term.
For this reason, the shared launch of the practical testing phase was at the center of the event. The experience gained, both now and in the future, supports the continuous optimization of our technologies and helps us better understand the requirements of future customers.
The PowerHub 500 was presented not only as a technical product but also as part of a broader vision: developing high-performance charging infrastructure that meets the demands of an increasingly electrified mobility landscape.
Exchanging Ideas About the Future of Mobility
In addition to the practical tests, the event primarily provided an opportunity for personal conversations and professional exchange. Colleagues from different departments came together to discuss current developments in electromobility and share experiences related to charging electric vehicles.

Ice Cream, Sunshine, and Great Atmosphere
With summer temperatures, the right setting was naturally a must. An ice cream truck provided welcome refreshments and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. Between charging sessions, technical discussions, and tours of the new charger, numerous conversations took place that reflected the character of the event: open, uncomplicated, and collaborative.
As a result, the inauguration of the PowerHub 500 became not only a technical testing event but also a successful example of how innovation and company culture can work hand in hand.
