An intensive week, countless conversations, new connections, and plenty of inspiration: IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover was a great success for all of us at SBRS.
Together with our colleagues from Shell Fleet Solutions, we had the opportunity to welcome customers, partners, and industry professionals to our booth throughout the week
For us, the event was about far more than showcasing new products. Our goal was to bring people together, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of mobility, fleet electrification, and sustainable transport solutions.
Right from the start of the exhibition, we celebrated an important milestone together with Shell Fleet Solutions. During a press conference, the “Home Away From Home” concept was officially introduced. The idea behind it is as simple as it is compelling: to provide drivers and fleet operators with a reliable, comfortable, and seamless EV charging experience along their routes. This concept demonstrates that successful fleet electrification is not only about charging points, but about a holistic ecosystem that intelligently connects people, vehicles, energy, and EV charging infrastructure.
Throughout the entire exhibition week, our booth served as a place for dialogue and collaboration. Many of our sales colleagues had already arranged numerous customer meetings in advance, resulting in our meeting area being actively used throughout the event. Existing projects were further developed, new partnerships were initiated, and future plans were discussed. These personal conversations are exactly what makes events like IAA Transportation so valuable for us.
Our booth concept also contributed to making visitors feel welcome from the very first moment. Inspired by a modern Shell Café, we created an open and relaxed atmosphere designed for networking and knowledge sharing. Between a cup of coffee, spontaneous conversations, and scheduled meetings, new ideas emerged and existing relationships became even stronger.

A special highlight was the demonstration version of the dispenser for our new PowerHub 500.
Many visitors took the opportunity to gain a first impression of our latest innovation and discuss the requirements of modern charging infrastructure for bus and commercial vehicle fleets with our experts. The overwhelmingly positive feedback confirmed that the demand for powerful, flexible, and future-proof charging solutions and EV charging infrastructure for fleet electrification continues to grow.
Another major attraction was our new phygital tool, which was presented to the public for the first time at IAA Transportation. Through an integrated touchscreen, visitors could interactively explore a variety of charging infrastructure and energy scenarios. Complex topics such as EV charging infrastructure, energy management, depot charging, commercial fleet operations, and fleet electrification became tangible and easy to understand. Rather than simply talking about concepts, we were able to make them visible and interactive. This made the phygital tool a genuine crowd-puller and one of the most visited areas of our booth.
We were particularly pleased by the strong interest in e-mobility, EV charging infrastructure, and sustainable mobility solutions for commercial vehicle and bus fleets. The many discussions throughout the week once again confirmed that the electrification of commercial vehicle and bus fleets is now a top priority for many companies. At the same time, it became clear that project requirements are becoming increasingly complex. This is exactly why SBRS follows a holistic approach, combining high-performance EV charging infrastructure, intelligent software solutions, energy management expertise, and expert consulting services for fleet operators.
Looking back on the week, it is the people and conversations that stand out most. IAA Transportation 2026 once again demonstrated the tremendous potential of collaboration, innovation, and shared visions. Together with our customers, partners, and colleagues, we were able not only to present our solutions but also to gain valuable insights and inspiration for the future.
