The Megawatt Charger at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam supports high-power charging for trucks and vessels. Its flexible arms and standardized connectors enable fast and future-ready electrification of heavy-duty transport.

Shell has launched its first Megawatt Charger at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam.

Designed for long-haul trucks and maritime vessels, this high-capacity demonstrator is powered by a smart microgrid, featuring over 3,500 solar panels. Its flexible charging arms, and support for multiple connector types, help pave the way toward standardised, high-speed charging for diverse transport modes.
