It features state-of-the-art TwinLader technology with CCS2 connectors, dynamic load distribution, and an overarching charging management system for efficient and flexible charging processes.
The project posed significant challenges. From a technical perspective, laying the medium-voltage cable was particularly demanding: a directional drilling operation spanning approximately 500 meters and the construction of several new cable shafts had to be completed. Unexpected obstacles such as gas pipelines and existing power supplies further complicated the work. Organizationally, the tight schedule was a true stress test. Additional difficulties included limited space at both sites and even two major fires at the Troisdorf location, which further hindered progress.
Project Manager Sascha Hermanns describes what made this project special:
“It was my first project in the company and one of the most challenging. From the start of construction to final acceptance, it was an intense and exciting journey. I’m all the more pleased with our customers’ satisfaction and the praise from the team.”
This project demonstrated that every undertaking is unique and highlighted how crucial teamwork, flexibility, and perseverance are for success.
